Coval (UTC) Ultimate Top Coat with Gloss Finish - 1 Gallon
Coval UTC – Ultimate Top Coat (Gloss) for flat concrete surfaces – is a thin film, single component coating designed to protect finished surfaces and decorative coatings from surface damage, stain, and harsh chemicals. Use Coval UTC as a chemical and scratch resistant topcoat over epoxy, polyaspartic and densified concrete. Coval UTC is designed for all smooth, non-porous and decorative surfaces that benefit from a non-sacrificial protective topcoat.
Coval UTC builds an irreversible covalent bond through the available polar groups in epoxies, urethanes, and paints. This prevents moisture, stains, chloride ion penetration, dirt, ice, acids, animal waste, and graffiti damage to the substrate. Coval Ultimate Top Coat Protection creates a covalent bond with the coating substrate and is easily and quickly applied with an acetone pump sprayer or HVLP sprayer.
Ultimate Epoxy Protection
Coval UTC eliminates the need for a cumbersome two-part urethane over an epoxy. It is applied as a transparent, thin film, giving superior protection with a fraction of the time, labor, and materials needed to complete the job.
Polished Concrete
Traditional floor coating systems require extensive surface preparation to achieve good adhesion because they bond mechanically. Polished concrete presents a special challenge to those coatings, as the surface is too smooth to bond mechanically.
The covalent bond formed by Coval UTC is many times stronger than a mechanical bond. This allows our coating to be used where epoxies and urethanes can’t, all while looking better, lasting longer, and protecting better.
Terrazzo
Coval UTC on Terrazzo will stay looking like it has just been polished for years, even in high-traffic areas. Coval UTC will bond directly to Terrazzo and bring back shine with a thin film coating. Use it to lower your maintenance costs of supplies and labor and eliminate harsh chemicals used in cleaning.
Fiberglass Restoration
Coval UTC will bond directly to bare fiberglass or surface paint to restore the lost luster and protect against oxidation and environmental damage for years. Keep Wood Looking Good
Coval UTC is ideal for use over lacquered or painted cabinetry and furniture and prevents those surfaces from oxidizing. Coval UTC applied over an existing decorative finish results in a protective barrier that is UV stable and resistant to acid, staining, peeling, and flaking. It is used predominantly on beach and pool furniture or wooden boats and yachts and will extend the maintenance cycle substantially.
