Owners Roxie and Mike first met as kids in school when they were paired up to share a locker. They became great friends over the years and ended up working together in the concrete, stone, and tile industries back in 1998. When the recession hit in 2008, the company they were working for at the time was forced to shutter eight out of their 10 locations. Despite the troubled economy, Mike and Roxie decided to purchase what was left of the Denver location believing that emphasizing customer service, stocking quality tools and supplies, and standing behind their products was a formula for success.

Their gamble paid off.
